The fact that there is nothing in the pitch that favours bowlers, it's not a good sign for Pakistani bowlers. Pakistan must score at least 350 to make it a fighting total. So far, Pakistan is doing well but I don't see them scoring 350 runs unless the bang bang Afridi hits a very big score that too in his own style but will he make it is a million dollars question. Other than timing, placement is the key if you want to keep the wickets and still score run. This is what IPL has taught the Indian Batsman and so many of the best batsman from different teams who play in IPL. They more matches in a sort time in IPL than they do in One Days over a much longer time window.

So technically the match had been truncated for 47 overs. However Pakistan was bowled out in less than the allotted overs. Had rain not interfered to truncate the match, SA would have the full 50 overs to get 222 runs. But now they have 3 overs less. So they are being given less overs than what they would have been entitled in a non truncated match. So D/L score should have been LESS than 222 which Pakustan scored. How did it end up being more at 232?

When Pakistani players perform, they deserve much more appreciation than other teams......because pakistan is not given opportunity to play IPL and get exposure to play with international cricketers.....they dont have good cricketing facilities.....they cant play in their own country. AND STILL....THEY PERFORM

Thank you South Africa and Pakistan it was wonderful to watch some classic fast bowling and wonderful fielding. Pakistan has too many analogies to draw from its 1992 bid. Starting with successive defeats, defeating Zimbabwe, New Zealand on high note, etc. etc. Keep it Misbah just don't play too many dot balls, at least try to deflect into gaps or to fielders than playing back to bowlers.

How about keeping Moin Khan permanently away from the team? For that matter Waqar should be rapped for his stubbornness for not playing Sarfraz because I know Misbah wanted him to play but Waqar stood in the way.

Misbah ,you should quit and WAQAS should be fired, you both made wrong decision or it may be a vendetta for not letting brilliant player Sarfaraz to play in first two games.

One thing for sure...there is NO cricket without Pakistan.
