TOBA TEK SINGH, Sept 22: Banners of all colours have camouflaged roads and arteries leading to railway station with the claim of three politicians that the new train being steamed off from Tuesday (today) is the outcome of their frantic efforts.

The new train will run between Lahore and Khanewal via Faisalabad-Gojra-Toba-Shorkot Cantonment.

All three stalwarts — Punjab Forest and Fisheries Minister Dr Ashfaqur Rehman, MNA Mian Farhan Latif and MNA Chaudhry Amjad Ali Warraich have been greeted through these banners for getting approval of this train.

Meanwhile, District Nazim Chaudhry Muhammad Ashfaq and his nephew MNA Farhan Latif have announced to receive the train at Toba railway station. The district government will also hold a function on the occasion.

Similarly, MNA from Gojra Chaudhry Amjad Ali Warraich has also announced that after receiving the train at the Gojra railway station he himself will come to Toba where his supporters will receive him and the train.

The train will arrive here at 9pm on Tuesday (today).
