Man kills wife

LAHORE: A woman was shot dead allegedly by her husband over a domestic dispute in Shadbagh on Thursday.

Police said 25-year-old Fakhra of Chah Meeran Road exchanged some harsh words with her husband Nadeem Butt. During the argument, Nadeem got infuriated and fired on his wife, killing her on the spot. He managed his escape.

Police shifted the body to morgue for autopsy and registered a case on the complaint of victim’s brother Haroon.

Investigation Officer Mustafa said raids were being conducted to arrest the suspect.
