ISLAMABAD: A meeting on the implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) was held here on Monday with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the chair.

During the meeting held at the Prime Min­i­s­ter House, Mr Sharif appreciated the government of Punjab for taking lead in implementing NAP aimed at targeting terrorists and extremists.

The premier asked other provinces to speed up implementation of NAP.

He said terrorists were the enemies of stability and harmony and “every possible step would be taken for ensuring their complete elimination”.

Secretary Interior, Direc­tor General Intel­ligence Bu­­re­­­au, Home Secretary Pun­jab and Pun­jab IGP attended the meeting.
