He is the only Pakistani leader who knows how to call a spade a spade. If he retracts from something said before, he does it openly and publicly and only in National interest, for which full credit must be given. His speeches may be amusement for those who want to see a political setup without him( they have already made up their mind), but a more pragmatic and objective understanding will reveal the most accurate, open and objective articulation of rights of the common man; be it Muhajir or non-Muhajir. A man who had the courage to challenge the status quo time and time again. Often the first person to condemn terrorism, feudalism, injustice to minorities and a lone proponent of minority rights. A beacon of hope for the common man.

Many people believe that it will be all over when Altaf Hussain is no more. I dont think so. There is a whole generation of youth that is uneducated, jobless and seeks violent ways to earn for a living for them and their families in Karachi. Unless you dont take care of them and improve rule of law nothing will change.

@Mahdi He has raised voiced against status quo, feudalism, injustice etc. but this does not mean that he has the right to accuse the whole institute. His own party is not ideal and his own actions please remember this is not the first time he has said something like this then he apologized and I am not sure this is not going to be the last time as he has too much power in his party like any other party in Pakistan. As a national party leader a responsible person and he should be setting a good example for his younger supporters and party members. He just cannot go and use the language which is not going t help him or his party he even cannot think. Muslim speaking people in Karachi are consistently fighting for their rights in the government, the local police, heck in day to day lives they are threatened by ethnic groups. You guys outside Karachi don't understand how it feels to be cursed at for being an Urdu speaking person in your own city. From getting into a car accident, to being pushed around by the bus mafia, to not getting any jobs because our other ethnic groups protect their own and openly beat up young Karachi guy. You guys don't understand how it feels to have Pathans throw rocks at mohajir houses just because they don't have electricity or stop and selectively burn cars that don't belong to their own group. The best example is 12th May where ANP attacks an MQM rally that only had innocent civilians and then when MQM responded, the world only pointed fingers at them. MQM is a necessity for mohajirs because other ethnicities abuse them in their own city. You didn't protect them when they were massacred and don't protect them even today. How one man is able to control one big city, country, people, press on the basis of terror and fear. This has got to stop and somebody needs to stop it. People should stop fearing and polititians should stop bargaining, otherwise lives will continue to be lost while somebody sits comfortably abroad. It seems nobody is thinking about the country.

This status quo must be questioned. Oppression is not sustainable. It's a universal law set forth by the creator. The voice of conscience is always implanted from very within the center of injustice and oppression. Zardari's own son is questioning his antics. This is classic.
