Mangla Dam victims

LAHORE, Sept 19: Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi on Friday directed the Board of Revenue to remove hurdles in the way of compensating the victims of Mangla Dam raising project.

He issued these directions after meeting Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Sikandar Hayat.

Both leaders also discussed other issues related to settling the Kashmiri refugees in the Punjab.

Mr Elahi assured him that all basic amenities like water, sanitation and electricity, would be provided to the residential colony of Kashmiris in Jhang district.— Staff Reporter
