Facebook services restored after brief outage

Facebook services were restored on Tuesday after what appeared to be a brief outage.

Earlier, the social media site had said it is working on fixing the issue, several users had said.

“Sorry, something went wrong. We're working on it and we'll get it fixed as soon as we can,” Facebook had said on its website.

Users from the United States and India had reported that they were unable to log on to the website.

The social media giant's Instagram service was also inaccessible

How odd. Wonder if their servers were hacked? Millions of people can't do without their daily or nightly Facebook fix. Half of the African continent is on Facebook. The Africans have a lot of time on their hands. Tough to find a job there.

ppl seem addicted to the website. you should be able to get away from it if it went down and not go berzerk. we saw it a long time ago- before over a billion ppl were members anyways. glad we avoided the social media frenzy when it first came out. i saw a couple pages on it maybe and youtube or whatever and watched a couple music videos. a man has got hit by a train filming a video to put on his website on youtube in the US. A famous fitness model it said on tv and all, but we don't watch it so don't know who he is either. It's obsession apparently.
