17 PPP activists join SDA

SHIKARPUR, Dec 21: At least 17 office bearers of the PPP, Shikarpur and Lakhi Talukas, resigned from their offices and joined the Sindh Democratic Alliance (SDA) on Friday.

Those who joined the SDA are Khalid Hussain Pathan, Gulzar Ahmed Jakhro, Ali Pathan alias Agha Khan, Ashiq Ali Pathan, Abdul Wahab, Ali Nawaz, Deedar Ahmed Jeho, Pervez Ahmed, Khalil Ahmed Bhayo, Dost M. Bhayo, Haji Lutufullah Bhayo, M. Panah Sethar, Ali Gohar, Gul Jan Soomro, and three women — Nighat Zaib Mangi (president, Pervez Musharraf Tahreek, women division, Shikarpur), Mubina Mangi, and Farzana Shaikh.

Senior workers including Noor Nabi Khan Baloch, Mour Mangi, Younus Mughal, and some of their friends have already left the PPP and joined the Shikarpur Rajoono Ittehad.

SECRETARY: Hifzur Reh-man, the secretary for works and services and irrigation, and Karim Bux Suhriani, the additional secretary for education, held an open Kutchehry here on Friday.
