QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Secretary Saifullah Chathha has asked officials to ensure construction of boundary walls and foolproof security at all schools in the province as part of the National Action Plan against terrorists.

Presiding over a meeting here, he ordered officials of law-enforcement agencies and educational institutions to jointly evolve a security plan for safety and protection of schools, colleges and universities.

The meeting decided that boundary walls would be built and protective wires installed at all schools, besides deploying security guards at every educational institution.

It also decided to take all steps to root out menace of cheating in exams.

Home Secretary Akbar Hussain Durrani, IG Police, Education Secretary Abdul Sabboor Kakar, Quetta Commissioner Qambar Dashti, the vice chancellor of the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences, CCPO Abdul Razzaq Cheema, Additional Secretary of Higher Education Mohammad Hayat Kakar and Deputy Commissioner of Quetta Daud Khan Khilji attended the meeting.
