Kasur to spend Rs1m on PM’s meeting

KASUR, Sept 16: The Kasur district council which met on Tuesday approved an expenditure of Rs one million to make Prime Minister Jamali’s Thursday public meeting here a success.

District Nazim Rana Imtiaz told the house that Rs500,000 would be spent on arrangements of the prime minister’s public meeting in Khuddian, Rs 400,000 on his reception and Rs100,000 on miscellaneous expenses.

“If we spend this amount from our kitty, we must take some funds from the PM for the development of Kasur,” the nazim told the house.

He asked union council nazims, including women members, to make sure that maximum number of people attended the meeting.
