HYDERABAD, Sept 15: The University of Sindh on Monday while announcing admissions to the academic session 2004 said it has increased number of seats from 389 to 470 in various job-oriented disciplines.
The director admissions said forms would be issued to candidates on prescribed fee with prospectus from the old and Jamshoro campus from Sept 25.
The last date for submission of admission forms has been fixed as Oct 15.
The director said an aptitude test for admissions to all bachelors degree programmes would be conducted on Nov 2 and result would be announced within 24 hours.
The test for admissions to masters classes in all disciplines will be conducted on Oct 26 and result will be announced on Oct 27.
The test and interviews of candidates for fine arts in bachelors programme will be conducted on Nov 3, he added.
SAU: The SAU has announced the results of first term B.Sc-IV supplementary examinations of the faculty of social sciences, first term B.E first year supplementary, B.E second year first term supplementary, B.E final, first term supplementary and M.E first term supplementary examinations.
Contributions sought: The Sindhi Adabi Board has sought the cooperation of writers and research scholars in publication of “Suriyah Badshah Number” of Mehran, the quarterly magazine of the board.
A delegation from Sanghar called on the board chairman, Ghulam Rabbani Agro, and the editor of Mehran, Nafees Ahmad Naashad, on Saturday and requested for the special number publication to hail the courage of the great Mujahid, Shaheed Badshah, Pir Saeen Syed Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi, in his fight against the British rule.
