SSGC to train youths

KARACHI, Sept 15: Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) will provide comprehensive technical training to youths nominated by the Ministry of Labour, Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis to enable them to get jobs in overseas market.

This was decided at a meeting between Federal Minister for Labour, Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis Abdul Sattar Laleka and Managing Director SSGC, Munawar Baseer Ahmad here on Monday.

SSGC Gas Training Institute (GTI) will train nominated trainees in the areas of welding, pipeline installation, pipe fitting, instrument technician, compressor and plant operations, auto mechanics, metering, measurement and other technical trades.

This training will prepare the trainees for securing jobs in the Middle East and other foreign countries.—APP
