ISLAMABAD, Sept 14: The capital territory police last month arrested 184 accused, including 23 proclaimed offenders, and recovered valuables worth millions of rupees, a spokesman for the police said on Sunday.

The spokesman said the police had arrested 45 accused, including 23 proclaimed offenders, and six court offenders who were involved in murder, robbery and abduction and recovered valuables worth million of rupees and vehicles from their possession.

The police also arrested 47 accused on charges of murder and attempted murder and traced three murder cases.

Valuables worth Rs900,000 were recovered from the possession of eight persons who were involved in theft and robbery. Besides, the anti-car-lifting cell arrested eight persons and recovered three cars.

The police also recovered 14.62kg charas, 1.50kg heroin, 7kg opium and 372 bottles of liquor from 54 accused.
