SHIKARPUR: Two shot dead

SHIKARPUR, Sept 14: Two men, Hazar Khan Marfani and Talib Marfani, were shot dead by a group of armed men near Drighpur village, Garhi Yasin taluka on Saturday.

The incident was said to be an act of revenge for the murder of Qutubuddin Pahore who was killed two months ago.

No FIR was registered till the filing of this report.

BANDIT KILLED: A bandit was killed in an encounter with the police near Mongar Wah on the Garhi Yasin-Ratodero road on Friday night.

Five bandits signalled a vehicle coming from Garhi Yasin to stop which was a police mobile van. Seeing the police bandits opened fire. The police returned fire, killing Amir Bux and injuring another bandit.

The injured was taken away by his accomplices.—BoC
