NBP: a complaint

Published December 25, 2014

MY father is a government employee. Being hand-to-mouth, we rely on my father’s salary. He receives his salary cheque from the National Bank of Pakistan.

He has been serving in the government department for the last 14 years on a meagre salary. For the last few months the local NBP branch staff has not been passing salary cheques.

I request the NBP authorities and the bank president to have some mercy on us and take action against the staff for causing a financial trouble to government employees.
