KARACHI, Sept 13: Sindh Minister for Mines and Mineral Development Haji Muhammad Usman Malkani has said that the PML-Q came to power to serve the masses and it will continue its struggle for the prosperity of the province.
The minister was addressing an open kutchery at PML-Q house here on Saturday.
He said that the chief minister had directed all the provincial ministers and advisors to sit at PML-Q House once in a week and listen to the people’s problems.
Mr Malkani said that he had listened to the problems being faced by the masses thrice this week.
He claimed that he had also redressed many of the complaints during his meetings.
He made it clear that PML-Q government would provide jobs only on merit and it would not bow to any political pressure. “No injustice in this regard will be done with anyone,” he remarked.
He said that a record development work had been done in the province under the leadership of Sindh Chief Minister Ali Mohammad Mahar.
Malkani assured the people that during the next five years the government would change the destiny of Sindh and everyone would become prosperous.
On the occasion, the minister received a number of applications and issued orders on the spot.—APP
