KHUZDAR: A man’s body, carrying bullet wounds, was found here on Saturday evening, police said.

An officer said some residents of Kheera Dirri area of the town informed police about the presence of the body.

Policemen rushed to the site and moved the body to the district hospital after taking it into custody for identification.

Several bullets had been pumped into the head of the man, the police officer said.

Some currency notes were recovered from the shirt pocket of the slain man. Someone had scribbled “Mehmood Ali son of Ghulam Haider” on one of the notes, he added.
