LAHORE: Three matches were decided in the Bank of Punjab Lahore Open Polo Championships here on Thursday.

Five-goal Ahmed Ali Tiwana steered Master Paints to a 7-4 win against Hataff. Sufi Mohammad Aamir added two other goals for the winning side.

For Hataff, Navid Shaikh struggled with three goals rally while his team-mate Hassan Ali Farrukh completed the goals tally.

In another match, three goals by Atif Yar Tiwana and two goals each by Shah Shamyl Alam and Malik Azam Hayat Noon enabled MMS to beat Newage/Master Paints 7-4.

Hissam Ali Hyder scored two goals while Sufi Muhammad Farooq and Abdul Rehman Monnoo added one each for the losing side.

Meanwhile, five-goal burst by Saqib Khan Khakwani handed Allied Bank a 7-5 victory against Guard Rice/BM Screening. Bilal Haye pumped in the two other goals for the victors.

Taimur Ali Malik was the main scorer (three goals) from the losers side.
