PESHAWAR, Sept 12: Pukhtoon nationalist leader and senior lawyer Abdul Latif Afridi has accused the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal of deceiving people in the name of Islam.
In an interview he said it was the impact of 9/11 in the Frontier province that the MMA formed its government.
He said now the people had realized that they were deceived in the name of religion. “Pukhtoon people are innocent and did not do any wrong,” he told BBC.
About the inmates of Camp X-ray in Cuba, he contended that the US should realize these people had been influenced by religious slogans. —PPI
