LAHORE: Army upset the reigning champions Islamabad Jinns 11-0 at the F10 rugby stadium while DHA Wild Bears won the game 12-0 against the AIT rugby club at the DHA ground in the Servis Tyres Rugby Championship which moved into the Premier League round with all the major teams in action over the weekend.

Army kept the pressure which resulted in two penalties close to the Islamabad goal line and both penalties were converted by Fayaz Dogar that ensured the Army victory.

In the other match in Lahore, both DHA Wild Bears and AIT attacked each other from the outset and had some good scoring opportunities but neither team could convert the forward momentum for points in a scrappy first half.

DHA came out hungry in the second half and were able to get a try by their captain Mohammad Ali. DHA kept the momentum and scored again in quick succession. The try was converted by senior player Faizan for 2 points, taking the score to 12-0.
