NWFP trials on Sept 15

PESHAWAR, Sept 11: The NWFP Swimming Association will hold a three-day trials to select NWFP squad for the forthcoming national senior championship on Sept 15 at Qayyum Sports Complex.

The championship is scheduled to be held on Oct 9 at in Islamabad Sports Gymnasium.

A four-member selection committee headed by Shah Muhammad Bokhari will supervise the trials. The other members are Nouman Gohar, Mobeen Ahmed, Nadeem Khan and Salim Akhtar.

All the interested swimmers of NWFP should report to Muhammad Asif on Sept 15 at 4.00 p.m.

After selection of a 20-member team, a camp would be set up at the same venue in order to give proper coaching and training.—APP
