Case against 3 policemen

SIALKOT, Sept 11: The Sialkot Anti-corruption Establishment on Thursday registered a case against SHO Suhail Ahmad Tarar, head constables Sajjad Anwar and Muhammad Boota of the Kotwali police on the charge of taking Rs7,000 bribe from one Maqbool.

No arrest has yet been yet by Kotwali police.

SHOT DEAD: A trader was shot dead by dacoits in Daska tehsil’s Glotiyan Khurd village on Wednesday night.

Two dacoits forced their entry into the house of Noor Muhammad who offered resistance. The dacoits opened fire, killing him on the spot. Later, they fled away while firing in the air.

Daska Saddar police registered a case, with no arrest.
