LAHORE: Former chief justice of the Lahore High Court Rashid Aziz Khan passed away on Saturday evening. He was 73. Funeral prayers will be held on Monday at his residence, 170-A, New Muslim Town.

The deceased is survived by three sons, Advocate Imran Aziz, Irfan Aziz and Bilal Aziz.

Rashid Aziz Khan had started legal practice in 1964 and was elevated to the bench in 1987. He served as chief justice of the LHC from 1997 to 2000.
