QUETTA: A child was killed and three people were injured in a bomb blast at the Pakistan-Iran border crossing in Mand area of Kech district on Sunday.

Officials told Dawn that some people were sitting at a little distance from the border crossing point in Radig area when the explosion occurred, leaving a child dead and three people injured.

Levies Force took the dead and the injured to a local hospital where the child was identified as Ghulam and the injured as Mohammad Samir, Moham-mad Younus and Bairak. The injured were later shifted to a Karachi hospital because of their critical condition. No-one claimed responsibility for the explosion.
