Join Istiqlal Party

Published September 9, 2003

LAHORE, Sept 8: Millat Party’s deputy secretary information Saeed Qadri and National Alliance council member Ehsanul Haq on Monday left their pro-government organizations and joined Istiqlal Party, a component of the ARD.

They told reporters that the LFO was being wrongly supported by the pro-government parties.

Mr Qadri criticized the way the Millat Party was being run. He said the leadership had monopolized the party because of which its members were leaving the party one after the other. —Staff Reporter
