HYDERABAD: Sindh Culture Secretary Aijaz Ahmed Memon, presiding over a meeting at the Bhitshah Rest House on Tuesday, directed all officials concerned to ensure completion of arrangements for the holding of the 271st Urs of great Sufi poet Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai. The three-day Urs would be held in Bhitshah from 14th to 16th of Safar.

Matiari Deputy Commissioner Fayyaz Hussain Abbasi, culture department director-general Manzoor Ahmed and other senior officials attended the meeting. Mr Memon said that Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad would inaugurate the first Urs while Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah would be the chief guest at the concluding ceremony.
