Pakistan best team of the world: Sami

BAHAWALPUR, Sept 6: Former hockey captain Samiullah on Saturday rated current Pakistan team as “the best side of the world.”

He attributed Pakistan’s 7-4 defeat against India in the crucial league match in the Amstelveen Champions Trophy last month to bad luck. He said a better performance in the second half would have enabled the team to won the game and to qualify for the final.

Ex-Olympian said that Bahawalpur Stadium could be revived as hockey centre after the facility of Astroturf.
