Tribal chief’s son shot dead

QUETTA: A tribal elder was killed in an ambush in Noshki on Monday.

According to the Levies, the vehicle of Sardarzada Wali Mengal, son of local tribal chief Sardar Asif Mengal, was attacked in Noshki bazaar.

He died of bullet wounds while he was being taken to a hospital, while the attackers escaped.

Law-enforcement personnel cordoned off the area after the killing and a case was registered.
