Brilliant knock by Arshad

KARACHI, Sept 6: Dawn Group beat Citi Bank by 29 runs in the Aga Khan University cricket tournament on Saturday.

Batting first Dawn thanks to a brilliant unbeaten 109 by Arshad Azam scored 186 for five wickets in their allotted 25 overs. He received good support from Irfan Khan who weighed in with a fluent 44.

Citi Bank were restricted to 167 nine in their quota of overs. Tariq Ishaq (34) and Waqar Baig (43) batted well for the bankers.

Irfan (3-15) and Imtiaz (4-23) were main wicket-takers for the winners.
