Schoolgirl electrocuted

SIALKOT, Sept 6: A sixth class student died after receiving an electric shock near her school in Korpur (Sialkot tehsil) on Saturday.

Irum Shahzadi was going to the Government Girls Middle School with other class fellows when she received the electric shock from a pole and died on the spot.

She was the granddaughter of local Ushr and Zakat committee chairman Khadim Hussain.

RECORD STOLEN: Thieves took away all record from the office of Uncha Kalan union council (Zafarwal) on Friday night.

Zafarwal police registered a case on the report of UC Nazim Chaudhry Javaid Mukhtar.
