NOWSHERA, Dec 20: The Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Gen Mohammad Aziz Khan, said here on Thursday that high level of professional training helped the Pakistan Army   meet expectations of the people during different hours of test.

He said that, by maintaining the same level of training, it could achieve its defence objectives.  

General Khan was addressing a “darbar” during his visit to a   unit of the Punjab Regiment here. Corps Commander Lt- Gen Ali Mohammad   Jan Orakzai was also present.

General Khan said that the history of Punjab regiment was full of stories of courage and valour and it was now a challenge for it to maintain the golden traditions of the  regiment.

He said that only a professional and highly-trained army could  meet challenges of fast changing situation across the globe.

He said he felt pleasure to learn that the Punjab Regiment had been evolving a comprehensive programme for training of its officials.
