CHITRAL, Dec 20: The students of Government Girls College, Chitral, have expressed resentment over the decision of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Peshawar, to make female candidates affix their photographs in the Matric and Intermediate exam forms.

In a press release issued with the signatures of about one hundred college students, they said the Chitral district’s students were totally unfamiliar with the exam malpractices and no one could think of giving proxy to someone else to sit in the exams in his/her place.

The students said the womenfolk of Chitral strictly observed Pardah and PISE’s decision was in conflict with their practice.

They said the decision had tortured them mentally and a good number of students had even decided to abandon their academic pursuits in view of this condition.

They have warned the government of boycotting their classes if the decision was not repealed.
