Lawyers protest

SUKKUR: Lawyers observed a boycott of proceedings of high court benches and

lower courts in Sukkur, Khairpur, Shikarpur, Naushahro Feroze and other towns in response to a Sindh Bar Council call for protest against the alleged kidnapping of Ali Mutahir, the son of Sindh additional advocate-general, Liaquat Shar, along with his friend, Ghulam Ali Kandhro.

Protesting lawyers also staged demonstrations and held meetings at various courts to condemn the incident.
