ISLAMABAD, Aug 30: The three-day mourning of Ayatollah Mohammad Baqer al-Hakim, the head of supreme assembly of the Islamic revolution in Iraq, will be observed here under the auspices of Islami Tehrik Pakistan (ITP).

This has been announced by the vice-president of Mutahidda Majlis-i-Amal and ITP chief, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi.

He recalled that Al-Hakim was a great religious scholar, and politician. Despite 20 years of exile in Iran before his triumphant return in May, he always taught the lesson of tolerance to the people of Iraq.
