QUETTA: Baloch Human Rights Organisation (BHRO) chairperson Bibi Gul Baloch expressed concern over what she described as ‘extra-judicial’ arrest of over a dozen people in Panjgur and Turbat on Sunday and termed the detentions a serious human rights violation.

In a statement on Sunday, the BHRO leader feared that lives of those detained might be at risk.

She alleged that security forces raided the house of Bakhtiar Baloch in Panjgur and arrested 12 people.

During a search operation in Turbat, she added, Pervaiz Baloch and Latif Baloch were picked up and taken to some unknown destination.

The BHRO appealed to the people to raise their voice against the human rights violations and arrests without warrants.
