TDAP installs MIS to monitor jewellery trade

KARACHI: The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) on Saturday inaugurated the Management Information System (MIS) to monitor imports and exports of precious metals and jewellery.

The TDAP is in the process to create linkages of MIS with Federal Board of Revenue’s Weboc (web based one customs) and the State Bank of Pakistan. This will bring transparency in trading of precious metals.
