KARACHI, July 24: Law-enforcement agencies will be engaged to shift the inter-city bus terminuses from Taj Complex and other congested areas to the outskirts of the city.

This was decided in a meeting, presided over by DCO Karachi Mir Hussain Ali.

The DCO said there was a need to remove the illegal parking from the Taj Complex area on a priority basis because it was causing problems to people.

EDO Transport said 32 terminuses would be constructed on Superhighway, National Highway and RCD Highway as part of efforts to shift inter-city bus terminuses outside the city.

He said the wall of 18 terminuses have been built and temporary walls around the remaining terminuses be built to check the activities of the land mafia.—APP
