Dawn leisure page

Published August 30, 2014

BEING an old Dawn fan, the first thing I read is the Leisure Page. I feel that the funnies column in Dawn needs serious changes.

My all-time favourite is Gambols, while the King of Id is excellent. On the other hand, I feel that the other comic strips like Rose and Nate are not as entertaining.

I have also noticed that since you have compressed all the comic strips into a quarter page for the Sunday edition, the print naturally has become quite small and is not easily readable.

It is my suggestion that Dawn should devote at least half a page to the comic strips on Sundays and should feature at least four popular comic strips like Dagwood, Beetle Bailey, Peanuts and/or Dilbert.
