KARACHI: At least four people were killed and two others were wounded in different incidents of violence in Karachi, DawnNews reported on Friday.

Unidentified men opened fire in the Qatar Mor area of Orangi Town, killing one man and injuring another.

Separately, a man sustained injuries when unknown attackers opened fire at a car showroom near Qasba Mor.

The deceased and two wounded persons were later shifted to the city's Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where one of the injured was said to be in a critical condition.

Sources said that one of the three victims belonged to a political party.

Earlier, three tortured dead bodies were found in gunny sacks from the areas of Malir Jam Goth and Shah Latif Town respectively.

Karachi, the largest metropolitan city of Pakistan, is riddled with targeted killings, gang wars, kidnappings for ransom, extortion and terrorism.
