KARACHI, July 23: The Board of Secondary Education, Karachi, has decided to announce the results of failed students along with the results of successful candidates of Secondary School Certificate (Class-IX and X) exams.

According to the BSE’s controller of examinations, the decision would be implemented, when the results of SSC supplementary exams-2003 would be announced.

From now, a separate sheet containing the results of failed candidates would be issued along with the results of successful candidates, he said. He added that the method of announcing the results of unsuccessful candidates would be that their result sheets would contain the numbers they would secure in those paper in which they would be declared fail.

With the announcement of results of unsuccessful students, the failed students’ current practice of thronging the board office after the announcements of results to enquire about the papers in which they had failed, would come to an end, the BSE officials opined.

SUPPLEMENTARY EXAM: The SSC supplementary examinations-2003 for both Science and general groups will begin from Oct 6 and would conclude on Oct 15.

The exam forms for appearing in the SSC supplementary exams- 2003 can be submitted from Aug 1 to Aug 16 without the payment of any late fee.
