ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan clarified his bizarre remarks regarding marriage in his last speech, stating that he could not even think of getting married "till Naya Pakistan comes into existence".
Speaking to a cheering crowd of supporters, the PTI chairman addressed former president Asif Ali Zardari over his recent meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Khan lamented the fact that even though Zardari, during a telephonic conversation held with the PTI chief when he was bed-ridden due to an injury last year, had termed the May 2013 general elections as RO(Returning Officers)-elections he still accepted Nawaz Sharif as the legitimate prime minister.
The PTI chairman said containers cannot help the current rulers to save their seats and addressing Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif he said that "your time is up Nawaz and you cannot stop the 'Naya Pakistan' from coming into being."
He also demanded that the routes blocked by the government should be opened for the poor and the containers be removed so that people could come to Islamabad’s Red Zone.
Imran said that he would address all Pakistanis today at 8:30 pm today when this freedom movement spreads all over the country.
He warned that a wheel-jam strike will be carried out across the country until Nawaz Sharif resigns.
Talking about civil disobedience, he said he would explain the concept to every one, on how a non-violent protests works.
Nelson Mandela had ordered this too, any country led by oppressors should carry out massive civil disobedience. He appealed to all Pakistanis to take their money out of the tax system from tomorrow onwards.
Imran also announced that two politicians will be joining the party soon. He appealed to all Pakistanis to leave their homes today for a New Pakistan for their future generations and for their rights.

Falling deeper and deeper My Khan. Please someone provide him with some face saving exit. His demands are outrageous and in current circumstances totally idiotic. He may bring an elected government down by non-issues but will be digging a far bigger hole for himself. Damage done to Pakistan and democracy would be irreparable.

Imran Khan sahib you are not only national political leader but more importantly national hero. So please think think and think before you speak. Banks are most vital and vulnerable segments of economy. If only 5% of consumers line up to withdraw deposits and bank on account of lack of cash refuse a few customers. It will have snowball impact. I remind you of cooperative scandal in early 90,s when some very professionally managed institutions like mercantile cooperative could not sustain the onslaught of customers and got liquidated in coming years. Institutions does not belong to individuals so we must try to improve them but not destroy them. One thing more, people are getting fed up with live transmission of march and the level of intellect of biased anchors so before media houses reduce coverage on commercial aspects try to get the best resolution in the interest of Pakistan, PTI and Imran Khan.

If IK manage to bring down this NRO setup in Pakistan and though it the unprecedented ingress of west and its ally India into Pakistan, and even if he sacrifice his own political future in the process, history will remember him as a great son of the soil.

Today I went timber market to ask about wood for my home doors, a person who has been dealing timber business since 30 years, told me that it is now difficult to bring wood from kpk as their is pti government and the officers concerned fear to take bribe on bringing wood to others provinces of the country

If nothing else, Imran has fully exposed the ruling elites of Pakistan. Political leaders should remember , these youths will be the major power brokers in a decade or so .They will come back to hunt the present rulers. Sons and daughters of the present elites have a bleak future ....so enjoy while you can.

I am astonished at some of the remarks against IK. Those who make them are obviously bias and support other parties. However, how blatantly bias and mindless people can be is beyond belief. Are you blind and oblivious to what is going around you, can you not differentiate between rights and wrongs, good and bad, democracy and aristocracy. At IK has had the courage to stand up against these corrupt politicians who have been robbing the nation. If you cannot support him, at least do not criticise and do not support the corrupt opposition.

Good advice. But you have to consider the duration of this dharna/ frustrations is taking a toll.
Pakistan is a nation of good people. But mostly in a deep sleep. And I think there are more than a few rotten eggs. Corruption has really spread like cancer and it's in the roots now. ( I'm talking about big cities mostly)

The only thing that I can appreciate in Imran Khan's Dharna is, that he has to some extent, politically awakened the otherwise apolitical nation. Let us hope his kick-corrects-the-hump in our nation's body.

He failed as a lawyer twice in India and then was lucky to get an opportunity in South Africa to practice. That's when he experience d first hand the discrimination and was the reason he became who he was. Point is we all learn from those above us. None of the ideas or approaches can be born in isolation ...
Gandhi or Nelson Mandella, are leaders but there are countless other ppl like me and u who inspire leaders and work with them, believe in them and inspire. So don't use your comments to create political drama to talk about India. Pakistan is going through a great phase of transformation, please provide constructive comments that will help solve problems.

IK needs to show responsibility in his personal life if he wants to be respected as a leader by public. He need to stop talking about marriage at 66 years of age and take care of the mother of his two sons who has been a good wife dedicated to him. Those who second IK disobedience and believe that it would create hurdles for Nawaz Sharif Govt.I doubt about their patriotism.Would this starve Nawaz sharif to death? It won't affect Nawaz Sharif in any way but will be damaging to the state.Government servants would be deprived of their salaries while Mia sab can enjoy the scrumptious dishes of Raiwand palace.More over encouraging them to use "HUNDI" is a serious blow to IK policies itself.People if we are surviving today, it is only because of flow of cash from overseas pakistani's.

@Salman Based on what? I am a Pakistani, one who belongs to the province his party is in power, and not even a PML-N or PPP supporter, yet I find this comment silly. Civil disobedience in the history of this world, including in the history of independence for Pakistan has only happened against occupiers and apartheid. This is the first ever instance, where a party who is PART OF THE GOVERMENT, and actually has a provincial govt is also advocating civil disobedience. He is like Nelson Mandela? Nelson Mandela's civil disobedience was against apartheid. Khan sahib's seems to be for 'PM Imran Khan'. While him and his saviours of new pakistan are dancing around and chanting in Islamabad, citizens of old pakistan are dying of bombs (by his brothers), are displaced, are living under the harshest economic times, all of things Khan sahib never bothered to stage a 'sit in' for. But then, like leader are his followers. the way he makes empty rhetorical statements with no proof and no actual substance, you just made claims of his greatness without any substance. All rhetoric, no substance!
