TOBA TEK SINGH: Two more family members, who were injured in a fireworks explosion in a house in Kamalia on Wednesday, succumbed to their wounds at DHQ Hospital here on Thursday.

Three children had died instantly when the house of Arshad Chohan collapsed after the explosion in Chak 739-GB.

Kamalia Saddar police said the injured, Kulsoom Bibi and her son Yasir Ali, also could not survive.

INSPECTED: Punjab Water Management Director-General Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf inspected the sprinkling and dripping system here on Thursday.

World Bank’s mission head Masood Ahmad and District Water Management Officer Dr Muhammad Asif were also present.

KIDNAPPED: A lady schoolteacher was allegedly kidnapped by some unidentified men here on Thursday.

Complainant Zahid Husain of Chak 328-JB told police his daughter was returning home from her school when she was kidnapped.

Police have registered a case under Section 365-B of the Pakistan Penal Code.
