ISLAMABAD, Dec 19 : Tehrike Nifaz Fiqh-i-Jafria (Moosavi) has condemned the terrorist attack on the Indian Lok Sabha and asked New Delhi to avoid jumping at conclusions.
In a resolution passed at the Eid congregational prayers, the TNFJ said the attack on the Indian parliament was similar to those conducted in New York and Washington on September 11.
However, it advised the Indian government not to use this incident as an excuse for targeting the Kashmiri people.
Another resolution condemned the American veto of the Security Council resolution regarding induction of United Nations observers to monitor the Palestinian areas.
“This action of the United States has proved that America is an international terrorist and bent upon making the Muslim people and the oppressed nations its target,” the resolution said.
The congregation also demanded of the government to implement the May 21, 1985 Junejo-Moosavi agreement for immediate solution of long-standing problems of the Shia people.
In a separate resolution, the TNFJ called upon the Muslim Ummah to launch a joint struggle from a united platform for the resolution of their issues, particularly the independence of Al-Quds Al-Sharif, liberation of Kashmir, an end to brutalities against the oppressed Kashmiris, Palestinians, Afghan people and the oppressed nations.
