QUETTA: A teenage girl and her alleged paramour were killed in the name of honour here on Monday. A man fell prey to old enmity in Karat and another lost his life in a road accident in Kuchlak.

According to the police, Noor Mohammad Mughal opened fire on his 18-year-old sister and her alleged boyfriend in his house, killing them on the spot.

The slain man was identified as Nooruddin.

“It is an incident of honour killing,” police said, adding that Noor escaped after committing the crime.

A villager, Qadir Bakhsh Shahwani, was killed by his opponents in Iskalgo area of Kalat district. Levies sources said Qadir Bakhsh was clubbed to death.

In Kuchlak, the elderly Sul­tan Mohammad was inju­red when a speedy vehicle hit him on the Quetta-Chaman road. He was taken to a Quet­ta hospital where he died.
