Minor ‘murderer’ bailed out

SAHIWAL, July 18: An additional district and sessions judge granted bail to an alleged nine-year-old killer on Friday.

The accused has been released from the central jail on production of surety bond worth Rs100,000.

Accused Awais Ali of Chak 56/4-R had shot dead Arshad during a cricket match. He was arrested on May 23 and kept in the school four juveniles. On the closure of the school he was again sent to the central jail on which human rights activists protested.

The court also granted Awais bail in the case of keeping unlawful arms. — Correspondent
