KARACHI, Dec 19: The Edhi Foundation distributed sweets and fruit among more than 600 patients admitted in different hospitals of Jalalabad, Afghanistan, on Eid Day, a press release said on Wednesday.

Edhi ambulances transported 17 patients and wounded persons via the Torkham border to different hospitals in Peshawar, shifted 9 patients via the Spin Boldek - Chaman border to Civil Hospital, Chaman and 3 patients to Civil Hospital, Quetta.— PPI

The Kubra Edhi Relief Foundation Karachi also distributed bread and sweets among one thousand female and child prisoners in women and Juvenile jails on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr on Tuesday 18th December 2001.— PPI
