He said that the inquiry would be conducted by the Sindh Health Department to suggest preventive measures so that such incidents could be checked in future.

He made it clear that the negligence of the hospital security staff, if proved in the inquiry report, would not be condoned.

He directed the hospital managements throughout Sindh to adopt strict security measures to protect the lives of the patients and their attendants.

He announced Rs200,000 as financial assistance for all the injured people and directed that this amount should be equally distributed.

He also announced Rs75,000 cash awards to be given to doctors, paramedical staff and other persons who extended their timely help and treatment to the injured, and added that their names should be recommended for promotion.

He said that hard-working and honest staff members of the hospitals would be encouraged.

He said that though hospital managements have been directed for adopting preventive measures, the attendants of the patients and other visitors should cooperate and maintain strict vigilance over the suspicious movement of any miscreants or unattended belongings of any people and report to the hospital management or police Madadgar on 15.

He directed the hospital administration for providing all medical facilities to the injured on government expenses.
