Qadri says his agenda different from Imran’s

LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri says his agenda is different from that of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chairman Imran Khan.

Talking to reporters here on Monday, Mr Qadri said election rigging in ‘four constituencies’ was not an issue for him, a reference to Imran Khan’s demand for verifying thumb impressions of voters in four National Assembly constituencies. Rather, he was working for ridding the masses of the ‘exploitative system’ in vogue in the country.

He said as ‘mullahism’ had damaged the country the most there would be no room for extremism, militancy and terrorism in the ‘post-revolution Pakistan’.

He said those who were crying that “the country is passing through a critical phase” were themselves responsible for the ills Pakistan was faced with and they plundered the country instead of developing it.

The PAT chief said he was ready to offer any sacrifice to eliminate the corruption culture from the country as “revolutions always demand sacrifices”.

Qadri sahb,please be practical ,and inform the people what do you want to do actually.your agenda is unclear,changing with every passing day.Join hand with any political party like Imran khan who will definitely leads you towards solid and concrete objectives.Please come out from this topi drama,and use your position for achieving real purposes.But try to avoid bringing more destruction for security forces like police as your followers did at Islamabad airport,because they are presented as scapegoat from the Punjab Government.Try to realize the ground realities

What revolution is he talking about? The one he advocates in English where he is against the blasphemy laws or the one he advocates in Urdu where he is for the blasphemy laws? Some clarity would help his disciples tremendously. Perhaps the English-speaking disciples should follow Qadri-Jees English revolution and others should follow his Urdu revolution?

Well here is a good sacrifice to make Mr. Qadri : Give up your Canadian nationality and move your family to Pakistan. Best way to solve the problems of Pakistan is by being a full-time Pakistani.

@Khayyam Exactly right. When Pakistan was a secular state until the late 70s when Bhutto put Hudood ordinance in place to make the mullahs happy, we were the fastest developing country in the region. Mullah Zia was the final nail in the coffin for Pakistan. All went downhill from there. All developed muslim nations are secular - Turkey, Indonesia, Malaysia etc. Sad truth.

Pakistani people have been suffering from political chip monks for the past 65 years, same elections, same faces. No law and enforcement, sold judiciary and sold media. What has left for destruction now....? 80% of the people in this country are living beyond poverty line and only less then 20% people here on social media commenting that "what is revolution...?" Shame on those people who are still protecting these PML N and PPP type parties despite being testing so many times. These people don't want to save democracy they want to save themselves. Revolution will Inshallah come!!!!

What 'revolution,' mr. qadri always talks about? To put his basics right somebody plz inform him that Pakistan needs evolution; in which things would be rectified systematically one by one so that the base on which the country is built would become strong immune to any foreign attack and not revolution; which destroys countries, comes in a second and leaves impact only for a second and is followed up by blood bath. don't u see the revolution of Egypt. what happened to it. Morsi came in the same way in which he was ousted followed and pre followed by massacres. Grow up Tahir ul Qadri. stop this drama. Pakistan is in its critical phase, don't plunge it into more darkness. stop using your religious chair, your funds which people give you as a 'religious' figure for you nefarious political moves.

@tshaik This guy has organisations running in over a hundred countries. How do you think he will be able to get around in Pakistani passport; I do not think so! Do not forget he is not just another Moulvi he is pretty high up a Sheikh ul Islam and there are not many of them around.

Qadri's agenda is to create disharmony in Pakistan while living in Canada. Whenever the going gets tough, he has a place to go back and hide. Imran, on the other hand, lives in Pakistan faces all trials and tribulations squarely and works for the well being of the people. You only have to see videos available on YouTube to understand what a hypocrite Qadri is!

Qadri did not like Pakistan to be the country of his residence and citizenship....OK..i got it....But answer this...is Qadri not a hypocrite? if you said NO..then think about this...Qadri is a Canadian citizen and he wants to bring revolution to a country he deserted long time ago. now, since he has taken the oath of allegiance to be faithful to the Queen, how will you justify his revolutionary thought for the deserted country. People like you love to be the fuel of these stupid annual revolutions so, be it. leave home alive and come back dead. your family will appreciate the "revolutionary" return.
