Three Bengalis held on border

SIALKOT, July 15: The Pakistani security forces arrested three Bengalis for illegally entering Pakistan through the Sialkot working boundary’s Meendanwal sector.

The official sources identified the accused as Mafia Bibi (80) and her sons Hafeez and Ayub.

More than 14 Bengalis have so far been arrested by Pakistani security forces on the border during the last 10 days.

NO-TRUST: The Hundal union council unanimously passed a no-confidence move against Naib Nazim Yousaf Ansari at a special meeting in its office here.

Councillor Mohammad Ejaz had initiated the no-confidence move.

FOUR INJURED: Four persons sustained serious injuries when a gas cylinder exploded in a welder’s shop at Ugoki.

The injured, Ayub, Asif, Bashir and Javaid, were admitted to a Sialkot hospital in critical condition.

The Ugoki police have registered a case against the shopkeeper, Arif, with no arrest.
