KARACHI, July 14: Mohammad Rafiq struck twice in Mekran Sports’ 2-0 victory over nine-man Aga Khan Gymkhana in a match which saw two red cards in KASB Permier League on Monday.

Zafar Khan of Aga Khan Gymkhana received marching orders after rough tackle in the 8th minute of the first half which remained barren at Aga Khan Gymkhana ground.

Rafiq slammed home in the 37th minute to give Mekran Sports 1-0 lead. Mekran Sports lost their another player when Mohammad Sadiq got a red card for rough play in the 45th minute. Rafiq slammed home his second in the 50th minute. The match also saw four yellow cards including Aga Khan Gymkhana’s Nizamuddin (17th minute), Basit (40th minute), Nasir Ismaeel (42nd minute) and Mekran Sports’ Akhtar Ali (29th minute).

Hyderi Baloch, who were toppled by Baloch Mohammadan from top, have once against taken the first spot after the completion of seventh round.

July 17: Karachi United v Usmanabad Union at DHA; LLWC v Nawab XI at CDGK Stadium.

July 18: Hyderi Baloch v Pakistan Petroleum at CDGK Stadium.

July 20: Mekran Sports v Bhutta Mohammadan at CDGK Stadium.

July 23: Aga Khan Gymkhana v Baloch Mohammadan at AKG ground.
